For the fourth year in a row, Hillsboro and Windsor will play to decide the Class 3 District 2 soccer championship.
The Hawks (17-5-1) are the No. 1 seed in the district and host the Owls (No. 3, 6-17) tonight at 5 p.m. Windsor beat Hillsboro the past two seasons to claim the district crown. The Hawks beat the Owls for the title in 2016. Two of the three games were decided by a goal.
The two Jefferson County Activities Association rivals reached the final with semifinal wins on Tuesday. Windsor upset Festus (No. 2, 14-7) 1-0 and Hillsboro blanked De Soto (No. 4, 4-13) 5-0. Senior Mark Moore scored twice and the Hawks beat the Owls 2-1 on Oct. 15.
