Defending American Legion Zone 4 baseball champion Festus Post 253 beat host Ste. Genevieve Post 150 9-4 at Yanks Field on Thursday night. Festus is 4-0 against Ste. Gen this season.
Matt Rosen and Gavin Turley led Post 253 with three hits each. Charlie Pratt had two hits and three RBIs against Post 150. Brennan Pryor earned the win on the mound for Festus in a relief role.
Post 253 plays Eureka Post 177 at Yanks Field tonight at 8 p.m. in the winner’s semifinals.
