After making it to the Class 4 state championship game for the first time in school history last year, the Festus football team hosts North County in the District 1 championship Friday at 7 p.m.
The Tigers (8-2) beat the Raiders (6-5) 46-21 in Bonne Terre in a Mississippi Area Football Conference game in October.
The winner advances to the state quarterfinals against the District 2 winner, either Vianney (4-6) or Sullivan (8-3) on Nov. 22.
