The Eureka High School and Windsor High softball teams are playing in the state quarterfinals today. Winners of today’s games travel to Meador Park in Springfield for the final four Oct. 30-Nov. 1.

Winners of Class 5 District 2, the Wildcats take a record of 22-5 to Lindbergh High to play the Flyers (21-7) at noon. The Owls (22-11) beat Festus High and Hillsboro in the Class 4 District 1 tournament and play Westminster Christian Academy (23-7) at Festus at 1 p.m. Eureka has made it to the final four six times, finishing third twice and fourth four times. Windsor has never made it to the state semifinals.
