The senior running back had touchdown runs of 60 and 62 yards as the Warriors jumped out to a 14-0 lead in an eventual 49-14 victory against visiting Poplar Bluff in the Class 5 District 1 tournament in Arnold on Halloween. Fox rushed for 492 yards and Cox led the Warriors (3-7) with 218. For the season, Cox has five TD runs of 60 yards or longer, along with kickoff returns for TDs of 81 and 93 yards. Fox is at Farmington (7-2) in a district semifinal Friday night.
