The senior guard has been playing at an all-conference level since January, 2025. In a 65-60 JCAA large-schools win over conference-leading Festus on Feb. 6, McGrath sank two 3-point baskets in the first quarter and ended with a game-high 25 points. The Hawks improved to 10-9 and have won three games in a row. McGrath has scored at least 20 points in three of the last four games and raised his season scoring average to 14.9 points per game. In a conference win against De Soto on Jan. 23, McGrath had 20 points, 10 steals and seven rebounds.
