The third baseman for the National team in the St. Louis Metro Collegiate all-star game July 7, Montgomery went three-for-three, drove in a run and played flawless defense in a 5-4 loss to the American team at Sauget, Ill. Montgomery graduated from Seckman High in 2020 and has played two seasons at Mission University in Springfield. This spring he batted .316 and stole 12 bases in 12 attempts.
