The senior running back carried nine times for a season-high 212 yards (23.5 yards per carry) and had touchdown runs of 33, 39 and 59 yards in the Warriors’ 49-28 victory over Lafayette in the Class 6 District 1 semifinals in Arnold on Friday night. Fox’s ground attack gashed the Lancers for 465 yards as the Warriors improved to 9-1. For the season, Thompson is second on the team in rushing with 668 yards.
