Margeaux Rose Thomas, 40, of Festus died March 15, 2026. Mrs. Thomas was known for her compassionate heart, generosity and natural gift for caring for others. With her master's in nursing, she was dedicated to serving her patients with kindness, empathy and commitment and she took pride in helping others through difficult moments. She participated with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She loved traveling and making memories with her family and friends. She also loved attending concerts, was a devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and enjoyed baseball during Red October. Most of all, she loved spending time with her husband and sons. She will be remembered for her warmth, strength and joyful spirit. Born Oct. 4, 1985, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Patricia Sansone of Ballwin.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband: Joshua Thomas of Festus; three sons: Cru Thomas, Briggs Thomas and Nash Thomas; two brothers: Edward “EJ” (Kimber) Sansone of Dardenne Prairie and Nico Parato of Ballwin; three sisters: Natalie (Ben) Vacca of Chesterfield, Claudia Parato of Dardenne Prairie and Bianca Parato of Austin, Texas; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Joseph Charles Sansone, Phyllis Sansone, Russ Verona, Harold Thomas and Mildred Austin.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at Radiant Life Church, 11533 Gamel Cemetery Road, in Festus, officiated by Pastor Randy Gray.
