The senior improved to 25-3 this season after winning the 107-pound District 1 championship at Northwest in Cedar Hill on Saturday. Bellinger had byes in the first two rounds before she won a 11-8 decision against Festus sophomore Lee Ann Dobbs in the semifinals and pinned North County freshman Heavan Webb in 3:23 in the finals. Bellinger’s win over Webb gave the Lions the team lead for good as they won their second straight district crown.
