The senior forward scored a hat trick – three goals in one game – two nights in a row in a pair of Lion victories. Hanewinkel accounted for all the scoring in a 3-0 win over Pacific on May 10, then registered three goals in the first 20 minutes the next night against Seckman. Northwest beat the Jaguars 4-3 in double overtime. Hanewinkel leads the Lions with 14 goals.
