A House Springs woman is accused of stealing more than $10,000 worth of property from storage units at Cedar Hill Self Storage.
Claudia Tikvesa, 50, is charged with felony second-degree burglary and stealing. She was issued a summons to appear in court on Sept. 14.
According to the probable-cause statement filed in the case, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary at the storage facility located at 6645 Mall Drive in Cedar Hill. Investigators determined someone entered the secured storage facility using a gate access code assigned to Tikvesa and stole property worth $10,181.11 belonging to three victims.
Deputies found the stolen coins, jewelry and other property in Tikvesa’s storage unit. Tikvesa said the items belonged to her.
