The Windsor graduate, a three-time state qualifier in the pole vault, finished second in the event with a personal-best 11-6 on May 26 at the Class 4 state meet in Jefferson City. In addition, she ran on the Owls’ state-qualifying 4x200-meter and 4x400 relay teams this spring. Barton also was a valued member of the Windsor softball team that won back-to-back championships in the Jefferson County Activities Association in 2014 and 2015; she earned all-conference honors three times.
