The 6-0 junior guard made seven of eight 3-point shots to finish with a season-high 27 points in the Blue Jays’ 67-63 win against Arcadia Valley on Jan. 7. It’s the third time in Jefferson’s last five games that Breeze has scored 17 or more points. He leads the Blue Jays (6-5) with 24 3-point baskets this season and is second on the team with 10.3 points per game. Breeze was the starting quarterback in Jefferson’s run to the Class 2 football semifinals last fall.
