The lanky freshman outpointed Justin Minks of Farmington 4-2 to win the 132-pound championship at the Class 3 District 1 tournament in Farmington on Saturday (Feb. 14). Warren, who has been coached for years by older brother Tyler, a four-time state qualifier and state runner-up as a senior, ran his season record to 32-5. He was one of only four freshmen in Class 3 to win a district title on Saturday.
