The seniors have both surpassed 100 career victories this season. After the Hawks won the Warrenton Invitational on Saturday with 199 points, Haggard (120 pounds) now has 120 wins and McNees (195) has 101. Both wrestlers are two-time state qualifiers in search of their first state medals. Haggard (30-9) finished third at Warrenton, while McNees (32-5) won his weight class by pinning Jackson junior Tanner Mitchell in 5:19. Hillsboro finished 10th in the state in Class 3 a year ago.
