The senior quarterback completed eight of 13 passes for 248 yards and four touchdowns and ran for another score in the Lions’ season-opening 37-27 victory over visiting Hillsboro on Friday night in Cedar Hill. Davis’s last three touchdown passes covered from 52 yards to Latham Logue, 49 to Brady Cutter and 36 to Mikel Davis, with the Davis-to-Davis final toss sealing the win with five minutes to play.
