The sophomore outside hitter was instrumental in helping the Lancers go 5-0 and win the inaugural Brace for Impact tournament championship at Legacy VTC in Fenton. On Aug. 26, St. Pius beat Rosati-Kain and Duchesne in two sets apiece. The next day, the Lancers beat Centralia, Ill. in two sets, Farmington 13-25, 25-23, 27-25 and Althoff in the championship 25-22, 18-25, 25-11. In 12 sets in two days, Leftridge led St. Pius with 54 kills (4.5 per set), was second with 30 digs and in 54 serve-receives, made just one error. The Lancers won the Class 4 District 2 tournament last year before falling in sectionals to Farmington.
