Yvonne E. Affolder, 76, of Sullivan died Nov. 4, 2015, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis County. Mrs. Affolder enjoyed painting, traveling, playing cards and remodeling houses. She was a hard worker and loved spending time with her family. Born March 3, 1939, in St Louis, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Artharine (Hografe) Wille.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Kenneth G. Affolder of Sullivan; three children: Renee Jones of Imperial, Phyllis (Jeff) Rogers of Zalma and Anthony Affolder of Dittmer; nine grandchildren: Andrew, Jacob, Jennifer, Michael, Ashley, Kyle, Kellie, Alex and Tasha; 9 great-grandchildren: Logan, Lauren, Landon, Jacey, Mason, Kelbey, Lucas, Leah and Gunner, with another on the way; a brother: Ronald (Sharon) Wille of House Springs; a sister-in-law: Rosa Lee Wille of Dittmer; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Donald Wille and Roland Wille; a sister-in-law: Margaret Wille; and her stepfather: John Stiens.
A funeral service was held Nov. 7 at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill. Burial was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
