Wilma Jean Minx, 83, of Richwoods died July 27, 2022. Mrs. Minx enjoyed traveling and spending time with family. Born June 11, 1939, in Richwoods, she was the daughter of the late Maggie Effie (Rutledge) and Clarence Burton Wideman.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years: Jerry Minx of Richwoods, whom she married on Aug. 27, 1977; four daughters: Marsha (David) Hayes of Richwoods, Sheila (Rob) Hayes of Potosi, Roxanna Benton of Bismarck and Jeana Davis of Cadet; two sons: Wayne (Joyce) Davis of Festus and Scott (Pearl) Davis of Union; a brother: Clarence (Karen) Wideman of De Soto; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister: Phyllys Greenlee; and two grandchildren: Mitchell Hayes and Matthew Hayes.
A funeral service was held Aug. 1 at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi, officiated by the Rev. Richard Wisdom. Burial was in the St. Stephen Catholic Church Cemetery in Richwoods. Arrangements were under the direction of Moore Funeral Home.
