William Raymond Middleton, 89, died Nov. 26, 2020. Mr. Middleton, affectionately known as “Bill” or “Tiny,” was born Oct. 5, 1931, in Raymondville, the son of the late William “Bill” and Myrna Jane (Miller) Middleton.
He is survived by his wife: Oneida M. (Hochstatter) Middleton; two daughters: Donna Douglas and Kathy (Jim) Moss; four grandchildren: Shawn Douglas, Dustin Douglas, Amber Clarke and Ashley Moran; four great-grandchildren: Miranda Douglas, Garrett Douglas, Josie Douglas and Oliver “Oli” Moran; a sister-in-law: Delta Middleton; many nieces and nephews; and several other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandson: Andrew James Moss; and 10 siblings and in-laws: Louis and Leoma Middleton, Lowell Middleton, Othel and Anna Middleton, Gladys and Lindell Minx, Beulah Middleton and Elmer and Louetta Middleton.
A funeral service was held Dec. 2 at DeClue Funeral Home in Potosi. Burial was in Redbud Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were under the direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
