William John “Bill” Kelly III, 49, of Herculaneum died July 28, 2020, at his home. Mr. Kelly worked as a technician for Charter Communications and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Festus. He also was an Eagle Scout and a longtime supporter of the local Boy Scouts of America. Born Jan. 8, 1971, in St. Louis County, he was the son of Sharron (Hutchings) and William J. “Bill” Kell, Jr. of De Soto.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons: Kyle Kelly and William J. Kelly IV, both of Herculaneum; a sister: Carol (Jay) Barr of De Soto; three aunts: Beverly (the late Vince) Castelli of Georgetown, Texas, Karen (Richard) Stern of Sullivan and Linda Lanning of Escondido, Calif.; and a niece: Jessica (Stephen) Skiles of Bonne Terre.
A graveside memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, in the Caledonia Methodist Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Matt Culbertson. Memorials may be made to the MS Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
