William F. Crostic Sr., 78, of Sullivan died Sept. 5, 2018, at his home. Mr. Crostic grew up in Arnold and attended Fox High School. He was employed in the asphalt/paving business for most of his working life. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his cronies. Born July 19, 1940, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Robert and Sylvia (Guntly) Crostic. He was preceded in death by his wife: Bonnie J. (Brda) Crostic, who died July 24.
He is survived by two sons: William (Judy) Crostic Jr. of Arnold and Chuck Crostic of House Springs; two grandchildren: Sarah and Danika Crostic; a sister-in-law: Sharon Crostic of Arnold; two nephews: Mike Crostic of Rockford, Ill., and Steve (Sharon) Crostic of Fenton; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Bob Crostic.
Mr. Crostic chose to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held from 1-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, at Arnold VFW Post 2593. Arrangements were under the direction of Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.
