Greenfield, Ed

William Edward "Ed" Greenfield, 86, of Green Bay, Wis., died June 6, 2021, in DePere, Wis. Mr. Greenfield was retired as an agricultural agent for the University of Missouri Extension. He also had worked for the United States Department of Agriculture Workforce Development in Washington, DC, and later in the Department of Agriculture in the Green Bay area. He served with the U.S. Army Reserve, retiring with the rank of colonel. Born Jan. 6, 1935, in Fort Smith, Ark., he was the son of the late Juanita (McLellan) and Gay Greenfield.

He is survived by two daughters: Marissa Akins and Sandra (Gregory) Stites, both of Festus; a sister: Ruth Staton Morrison of Van Buren, Ark.; three grandchildren: Leslie Akins of Grand Rapids, Mich., Christopher Akins of Chicago, Ill., and Kristen (Zachary) Faulkner of Festus; and three great-grandchildren: Donovan and Trevor Akins of Grand Rapids and Eli Faulkner of Festus, with another on the way.

He was preceded in death by a sister: Lillian Moran; and a brother: Wallace Greenfield.

Arrangements were under the direction of Cotter Funeral Home in DePere, Wis.
