William Anthony Carrow, 74, of Festus died May 28, 2019, at his home. Mr. Carrow worked at Chrysler and was a proud union worker. He also was a member of Plattin Rock Boat Club and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crystal City. Born July 11, 1944, in Flint, Mich., he was the son of the late Woodrow and Alberta Carrow.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Caroline Sue Cambron; two children: Melinda Sue (Bill) Meadows of Festus and Bryan Anthony (Tina Flecke) Carrow of Jackson; four grandchildren: Nicholas Allen Stanfield of De Soto, Brett Lee (Emily Via) Stanfield of Hillsboro, Brittany Nicole (Austin Lilly) Stanfield of Festus and Ashley Brook Carrow of Jackson; one great-grandson: Grayson Ray Lilly of Festus; one sister-in-law: Dana (Darwin) Cambron of Lompoc, Calif.; one brother: Terry Lee (Debbie Thomas) Carrow of Bloomsdale; two sisters: Pamela (Terry) Moran of Festus and Sandra (Dennis) Winston of Stockton; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend: Michael Pruneau of Herculaneum.
Mr. Carrow chose cremation. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
