Warren Lynn Barnhart, 81, of Woodstock, Ga. died Aug. 27, 2019, in Woodstock, Ga. Mr. Barnhart graduated from Drury College, where he was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, and earned a doctoral degree from St. Louis University. He served with the U.S. Army Reserve. Born Oct. 1, 1937, in De Soto, he was the son of the late Virgie Muzzey and Morris Barnhart.
He is survived by his wife: Janet Barnhart; three children: Denise Marie Sperruzza, Warren Lynn Barnhart Jr. and Elizabeth Anne Barnhart; three grandchildren: Tony Sperruzza, Cassie Farner and Rylee Davis; and a brother: David (Peggy) Barnhart.
A graveside service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
