Wanda Marie O’Brien, 94, of Kansas City died May 22, 2017, at North Care Hospice in North Kansas City. Mrs. O’Brien was born Oct. 11, 1922, in Crystal City, the daughter of the late Leona (Null) and Floyd David Maurice.
She is survived by her husband: Orville “OB” O’Brien; and two daughters: Judy O’Brien of Alpharetta, Ga., and Kathi (Mark) Knoeber of Parkville.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Owen “Snoozer” Maurice.
Visitation is at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 25, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main, in Festus, followed by a graveside service at 2 p.m. at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City, officiated by Deacon Jerry Stoverink. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
