Dillingham, Wanda

Wanda Lou Dillingham, 83, of De Soto died Dec. 25, 2020, at Hillcrest Nursing Center in De Soto. Mrs. Dillingham was a homemaker and a faithful member of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church in De Soto, where she had served as a children’s Sunday School teacher and a trustee chairperson. In her free time, she enjoyed, fishing, camping and crocheting. Born June 17, 1937, in Redford, she was the daughter of the late Earnest and Ora (Mann) Barton.

She is survived by her husband: Bobby J. Dillingham of De Soto; a grandson: Kevin Larkin of Wakarus, Kan.; a great-granddaughter: Lilly Larkin of Wakarus; a sister: Anna Mae Annese of Corona, Mich.; two brothers: Charles Barton of Monroe City and Jerry (Joyce) Barton of Hawk Point; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son: Robert Scott Dillingham.

Funeral services were private. Burial was in the Peaceful Ridge Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
