Virginia Ruth “Ginny” Clifton Hartman Wooldridge, 89, of Festus died Oct. 4, 2021. Mrs. Wooldridge was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crystal City. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and traveling. Born July 21, 1932, in Crystal city, she was the daughter of the late Ruth (Pogue) and Curtis Clifton. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Dean “Jack” Hartman.
She is survived by her husband: Floyd Dale Wooldridge of Festus; a brother: James (Julia) Clifton of Dallas, Texas; a niece: Jessica Clifton of Arizona; an aunt: Joyce Clifton Miller of Festus; a sister-in-law: Diane Hartman of Keyton, Kan.; and dear friend Marlene Berk.
Funeral services were private. Burial was in the Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the Shriners Hospital for Children. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
