Virginia F. “Jenny” Sanford, 60, of Festus died Nov. 5, 2017, at NHC Healthcare in Desloge. Mrs. Sanford was retired from K-Mart. She enjoyed crocheting and shopping and loved video games. Born Aug. 23, 1957, in Horine, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Nellie (Vaughn) Williams.
She is survived by her husband: Douglas Sanford of Festus; two sons: Frank (Mel) Sanford of De Soto and Danny (Amanda) Sanford of Bellview; a daughter: Brook (John) Bullock of De Soto; a brother: Sam Williams of Potosi; three sisters: Ethel May Reed of Potosi, Sandra (Ron) Turner of Potosi and Dorothy (Dan) Holst of Bloomsdale; nine grandchildren: Ashley, Hunter, Jenna, Parker, Emily, Kaiden, Johnny, Alexis and Frankie; and one great-grandchild: Maddie Lynn.
She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Rick Reed.
Visitation is at 10 a.m. and a memorial service is scheduled for noon Thursday, Nov. 9, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Dr., in Festus. Burial is in the Bonne Terre City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
