Victorine Ava Brown Weissenbach, 92, of Chester, Ill., formerly of Arnold, died May 7, 2017, at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester. Mrs. Weissenbach was a homemaker, and a member of Beta Sigma Phi, VFW Auxiliary and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Arnold. Born May 27, 1925, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late John Frederick and Clara Belle (Hays) Millerman. She was preceded in death by two husbands: William L. “Jack” Brown and Roy Weissenbach.
She is survived by two children: William L. (Renee) Brown of Chester, Ill., and Jackie Phillip (Kathleen) Brown of Mesa, Ariz.; one sister: Betty Achord of Bloomsdale; seven grandchildren: James (Angelita) Brown, Jackie Brown Jr., Michael Brown, Phillip (Katharin) Brown, Christina (Mike) Heep, Kendra (Kyle) Brown and Bridget Brown; 11 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Frank Millerman and Clarence Millerman; four sisters: Pauline Yankey, Ruby Meinhardt, Rose Beason and Irene Millerman.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m., Friday, May 12, at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, 839 Lehmen Drive, in Chester, Ill. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by the Very Rev. Eugene Wojcik, V.F. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Chester, Ill. Memorials may be made to VFW Post 3553.
