Vicki Stranger, 45, De Soto

Vicki Stranger, 45, of De Soto died May 3, 2021, in Festus. Mrs. Stranger was a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, motorcycle riding and spending time with family and friends. She will be remembered for her friendliness and willingness to help others. Born Aug. 20, 1975, in Denver, Colo., she was the daughter of the late George Niederriter and Nancy Hodge.

She is survived by her husband of 12 years: Bill Stranger; four children: Shannon, Maggie, Jacob and Ryan Stranger; four stepchildren: Billy (Kim) Stranger, Kim (Jon) Clark, John (Carmen) Stranger and Jason (Missy) Stranger; 21 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today (May 7) at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Funeral services will be at 9:45 a.m. Saturday (May 8) at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Garden in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
