Vernon D. Sanders, 82, of Arnold died March 30, 2021. Mr. Sanders enjoyed old cars, bluegrass music, going to bluegrass festivals and spending time with his family and friends. Born July 18, 1938, in Doniphan, he was the son of the late Ray and Selma (Eckstein) Sanders.
He is survived by his wife: Shirley (Chapman) Sanders of Arnold; two daughters: Robin (Prince) Davis and Jennifer (Dave) Freemyer; three grandchildren: Wolf Smith, Riley Freemyer and Reed Freemyer; a step-granddaughter: Asia Davis; a granddaughter-in-law: Kristie Smith; two great-grandchildren: Zeralyn and Zayden Smith; two brothers: Howard Sanders and Glen (Pat) Sanders; and several other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandson: Jason Smith.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
