Veda M. (Rodgers) Logan, 84, of Festus died June 13, 2021, at her home. Mrs. Logan had worked as a medical technician at Pony Bird in Mapaville. She liked to read, work crossword puzzles in ink, go to Goodwill Stores, play computer games and gamble at the casinos. Born June 20, 1936, in Fair Dealing, she was the daughter of the late H.M. and Minnie Ellen (Taylor) Rodgers. She was preceded in death by her husband: Oral Garner Logan Jr.
She is survived by a son: Gary E. Logan of Festus; three daughters: Linda A. Rooney of Festus, Debra L. Campbell of Festus and Lorette D. (Charley) Snyder of Ferguson; a brother: Alvin LeRoy (Sharron) Rodgers of Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren: Noah Snyder, Christopher Reid, Nikkee Joiner and Megan Froemling; five great-grandchildren: Layla Joiner, Adia Joiner, Xander Froemling, Shelby Reid and Samantha Reid; and one great-great-grandchild: Piper Reid. She was preceded in death by a brother: Virgil Rodgers; a sister: Margie Ann Deckard; a son-in-law: Steve Rooney; and a great-great-grandchild: Dale Burgett Jr.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. until a funeral service at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins, in Festus. Memorials may be made to Pony Bird, 1 Pony Bird Lane, Mapaville, 63065. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
