Ursula Maria Wallace, 87, formerly of Hillsboro, died Feb. 24, 2019, at Crystal Oaks Nursing Center. Mrs. Wallace was a former LPN in the health field and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Hillsboro. She enjoyed working, crocheting, knitting, gardening and cooking. Born Nov. 10, 1931, in Duisburg, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Emilie Scheuring. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Wallace, who died in 1988.
She is survived by two sons: Pete (Doris) Wallace and Paul (Toni) Wallace, both of Festus; two daughters: Yolanda (Paul) Lawrence of Hillsboro and Vivian Shea of Perryville; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 1, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Drive, in Festus. Visitation is at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 2, at Zion Lutheran Church in Hillsboro, followed by a funeral service officiated by Pastor Mark Harris.
