Travis R. Bloemke, 37, Cedar Hill

Travis R. Bloemke, 37, of Cedar Hill died Sept. 8, 2022, in Cedar Hill. Mr. Bloemke was a union painter and worked for Leach Painting Co. He was known for his meticulous work. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his nephews and nieces. He also enjoyed barbecuing, playing yard games, going to truck pulls and helping people around their houses. He will be remembered for his kindness, laid-back personality and ability to make others laugh. Born Aug. 23, 1985, in St. Louis, he was the son of Terri (Carr) and the late Doug Bloemke.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by three siblings: Meagan Gray, Courtney Elizabeth and Alex (Julie) Bloemke; five nieces and nephews: Jonathan, Madeleine, Lillian, Charley and Bennett; and many other family members and friends.

A visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at Faith Community Church, 4824 Scottsdale Road, in House Springs. Memorials may be made to Donations Coordinator Missouri Department of Conservation P.O. Box 180, Jefferson City, 65102. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
