Theresa Ann Schmitt, 58, of Hillsboro died March 20, 2018, at Evelyn’s Hospice House in Creve Coeur. Ms. Schmitt was an administrative assistant for the Jefferson County Division of Family Services. Born July 26, 1959, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Rosemary (Magen) Owens.
She is survived by four siblings: Mark (Theresa) Owens of Maryland Heights, Harold (Patricia) Owens of Kirkwood, Charles Owens of St. Charles County and Christine (Ron) Rector of St. Charles County; and several nieces and nephews.
A private funeral service was held March 31, officiated by Mark Ferrell. Burial was in the Four Seasons Mausoleum at Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
