Terry Edward De May, 74, of High Ridge died June 11, 2020, at Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County. Mr. De May was an electrical engineer who served in the Amy and the National Guard. He was a member of Local 1 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, the High Ridge Church of Christ, the Rotary Club in south St. Louis County and the Aviation Club. He was a leader of Cub Scout Pack 535. Born Aug. 30, 1945, in Kirkwood, he was the son of the late Mary Louella (Matheis) and Edward Emil De May.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years: Angela VonDerHaar; two children: Angela Von Der Haar and Ted Edward (Melissa) De May; two siblings: James Robert (Mary) De May and Patricia Marie (Dave) Guerrero; four grandchildren: Anthony Edward and Landon Joseph Von Der Haar and Silas Alexander and Evan Lewis De May; and three great-grandchildren; Anthony Joseph Von Der Haar and James Alexander and Steven Edward De May.

He was preceded in death by a son: Aron Anthony De May.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, June 27, at the High Ridge Church of Christ, 3512 High Ridge Blvd., followed immediately by a memorial service.
