Teresa Marie “Pooch” Dallas, 82, of Crystal City died Sept. 27, 2020, in the company of family. Mrs. Dallas was retired from Liguori Publications in Barnhart after working there for 25 years. She was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Church in Crystal City. Born Feb. 4, 1938, in Festus, she was the daughter of the late George and Florene (James) Dehner. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years: William Gene Dallas.

She is survived by two daughters: Lynn (Tim) Smetzer of Festus and Maria (Greg) Engel of De Soto; two sons: William “Chris” (Kathy) Dallas of Herculaneum and John (Connie) Dallas of De Soto; a sister: Katherine (the late Cliff) Hahn of Maryville, Ill.; nine grandchildren: Don (Erika) Wieland, Erin (Aaron McComack) Dallas, Sarah (Rickey) Ross, Megan (Kylee Teller) Noce, Anna (James) Hamilton, Stacie (Ryan) Quirk, Kara (fiance Jason Lofton) Dallas, Erika Engel and Emily (Brandon) Smith; and nine great-grandchildren: Logan Dallas, Alyssa Dallas, Kayla McComack, Ryan Ross, Riley Ross, Koby Quirk, Payton Noce, Dakota Noce and Luke Hamilton.

She was preceded in death by two brothers: Paul Frank (Barbara “Bobbi” survives of Osage Beach) and Leo George (Judy survives of Texas) Dehner; and a grandson-in-law: Jonathon Noce.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, at Sacred Heart Church in Crystal City, officiated by Father Matthew Charuparambil. Burial is in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
