Terence A. “Terry" Box, 68, of Arnold died Feb. 24, 2021. Mr. Box was retired after a long career as a software sales account executive. He was a devoted Ohio State Buckeyes fan and lover of Cleveland sports. He was an avid golfer and never failed to watch the Masters on his birthday weekend. He spent many years as “The Commish,” arranging Myrtle Beach golf outings and poker nights with good friends, and loved coaching his sons’ baseball teams and just being at the ballpark. He was born April 8, 1952, in Elyria, Ohio, the son of the late Fran Kaplan and Robert "Bob" Box.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years: Gayle Sheahan of Arnold; two children: Spencer Box of Arnold and Cameron Box of Columbus, Ohio; a brother: Mick (Sandy) Box of Louisville, Ky.; a half brother: Rowan (Heather) Box of Lewis Center, Ohio; and a half sister: Margot (Justin) Bingham of Dexter, Mich.
Mr. Box was an organ donor. A celebration of life is planned for late spring in Westerville, Ohio, where he lived for many years with his family. Arrangements are under the direction of Valhalla Chapel in St. Louis.
