Summer Kai Holmes, 22, of De Soto died June 24, 2018, at her home. Ms. Holmes was a 2014 graduate of De Soto High School and a 2018 graduate of Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in communications and business. She enjoyed Blues hockey, going to concerts, reading and being with family and friends. She was born June 6, 1996, in St. Louis, the daughter of Patrick Holmes of Fenton and Andrea (Kent Irby) Oswell Holmes of De Soto.
In addition to her parents and stepfather, she is survived by two brothers: Zachary (Kaitlyn Capestro) Holmes of Arnold and her twin, Seth (Danielle Courtney) Holmes of De Soto; and two grandparents: Fran Arnac of De Soto and Patricia Hatfield of Florissant.
Visitation is at 4 p.m. and a funeral service is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, June 29, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main St., in De Soto, officiated by Pastor Randy Gray.
