Steven William Willis, 55, of Arnold died Jan. 4, 2014, at St. Anthony's Hospice House in St. Louis County. Mr. Willis was a warehouse manager with the Swift Print Co. He was a member of Windsor Baptist Church in Imperial. Born Feb. 7, 1959, in St. Louis, he was the son of Ruth Matthews Willis of Arnold and the late William R. Willis.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two children: Austin Willis of St. Louis and Christian Willis of Springfield; three siblings: Ed (Sherie) Willis, Ron Willis and Stan Willis; a nephew: Bill Willis of St. Louis; four nieces: Clare (Darryl) McMullen of Imperial, Katie Willis of Imperial, Maggie Willis of St. Charles and Jessie Steffens-Willis of St. Louis; and two great-nieces: Londyn and Leighton McMullen of Imperial. He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law: Kelly Willis.
A funeral service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at Windsor Baptist Church, 6701 Hwy. 61, in Imperial, officiated by Pastor Robert Sterling. Burial is in the Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. A celebration of life dinner will follow at VFW Post 2593 in Arnold. Memorials may be made to the music program at Windsor Baptist Church.
