Stephen “Todd” Gann, 37, of De Soto died May 18, 2019, on Laguna Palma Road in the De Soto area. Mr. Gann was previously employed at Wheelchair Professionals. He was a 2000 De Soto High School graduate and graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He was a Christian. He lived life to the fullest and loved being in the country, camping on the riverbanks and kayaking. He also loved music and taught himself the guitar and enjoyed going to music festivals. He used his hands and mind to accomplish what most might never attempt. He was kind and compassionate and clung to his faith. Born Oct. 27, 1981, in St. Louis, he was the son of Linda I. Snook and Stephen Gann.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two siblings: Cara (Jerry) Thomas and Hayley (Lindsey) Skelton; a nephew: Cade Thomas; and a niece: Riley Thomas; and a few close friends he considered family.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother: Irene “MeMe” Snook.
A celebration of life ceremony will be from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, June 9, at the CIA Hall, 13468 Hwy. JJ, in De Soto. Memorials may be made by contributing or volunteering with the Missouri Stream Team. Arrangements are under the direction of St. Louis Cremation.
