Simon Paul Boyer, 99, of House Springs died Dec. 15, 2021, in Festus. Mr. Boyer enjoyed spending time with family. Born March 18, 1922, in Cadet, he was the son of the late Louis and Sarah (Merseal) Boyer. He was preceded in death by his wife: Opal (Griffin) Boyer.
He is survived by a daughter: Carolyn (Charles) Ottenad; three grandchildren: Connie (Don) Fite, Jeff Ottenad and Lorrie (Bob) Grimm; three great-grandchildren: Jacob, Kymberli and Tyler; and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by two children: Homer Conway and Pat Grogan; and a grandchild: Kimberly Hoefer.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4207 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis, 63108. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
