Sherry Kay Tucker, 49, of De Soto died Nov. 21, 2018, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Ms. Tucker was studying criminal justice through University of Phoenix. She loved animals and playing on the computer. Born April 27, 1969, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Violet (Hudson) Statzel of De Soto and the late Herman Tucker.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her stepfather: Vernon Statzel of De Soto; one brother: Ralph (Laurie Wilmoth) Tucker of Union; one nephew: Logan Tucker of Union; and her pet: Hershey.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, at Mahn De Soto Chapel, 900 N. Main and Mahn Ave. in De Soto. Burial will be at Peaceful Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
