Sharon Rene Vessell, 60, of Festus died Dec. 1, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Vessell owned and operated Davison Jewelry and Pawn Shop in Festus. She enjoyed fishing, making jewelry and spending time with her grandchildren. Born Oct. 16, 1959, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Teddy and Harriett (Short) Davison.
She is survived by two daughters: Brandy (Lori Boerner) Vessell of Festus and Leah (Allyse) Vessell of De Soto; two brothers: Teddy Davison of Potosi and Larry Jackson of Affton; a sister: Donna (Darryl) Waldrup of De Soto; and three grandchildren: Joleigh, Wyatt and Nora Vessell.
She was preceded in death by a son: Jesse Vessell; and a brother: Michael Davison.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the memorial service at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins, in Festus. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 4207 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis, 63108. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in Festus.
