Sharon Gail (Mercille) Govero, 66, of Tiff died Sept. 16, 2021,. Mrs. Govero dedicated her life to Christ at a young age and will be remembered for her love and unwavering faith. She loved sewing, fishing, watching hummingbirds and spoiling her grandchildren. Born June 22, 1955, in Bonne Terre, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Margaret (Duke) Janusweski.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years: Donald J. Govero, whom she married June 28, 1983; two daughters: daughter, LaTonya (Steve) Brumitt and Chelsea (DJ) Wicker, both of Tiff; two sisters: Cindy (Scott) Howard of Blackwell and Connie (Dave) Manness of Tiff; a brother: Joe Joe Janusweski of Tiff; five grandchildren: Madelyn, Gracie, Kinslee, Waylon and Riverly; one great-grandchild: Hendrix; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Rodney Mercille, Randy Mercille and Carry Mercille; a sister: Ricky Huffman; and two grandchildren: Stephen and Payton Brumitt.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at Jesus Is the Answer Church in Cadet. Arrangements are under the direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
