Salvatore Joe “Sam” Rush, 69, Crystal City

Salvatore Joe “Sam” Rush, 69, of Crystal City died July 26, 2021, at his home. Mr. Rush worked in sales at Alpha Fence Systems in St. Charles. He enjoyed music, dancing, barbecuing and spending time with his family and friends. Born July 5, 1952, in Crystal City, he was the son of the late Robert and Frances (Pumo) Ravellette.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years: Barbara Louise (Hess) Rush; three daughters: Nikki (Chris) Barker of Pevely, Allison (Tyler) Lambert of Barnhart and Laura (Kevin) Aubuchon of Eureka; a brother: Robert “Bob” (Kim) Ravellette of Festus; two sisters: Connie Kuchera of Crystal City and Monique (Kim Nicholson) Ravellette of Alabama; and nine grandchildren: U.S. 1st Sgt. Tyson Rush-Prator, Isabell Barker, Nathaniel Aubuchon, Keaton McAndrews, McKenna Chambers, Reagan Chambers, Stella Lambert, Saylor Lambert and Silas Lambert.

He also was preceded in death by a brother: Eric Ravellette.

Services will be held later. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Homes.
