Sally Shepard, 79, of Crystal City died June 21, 2014, at her home. Mrs. Shepard was retired from the Teamster’s Health and Medical Camp in Pevely, where she worked for many years as a cook. Born Feb. 28, 1935, in Blytheville, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Alex and Lizzie (Henson) Logan. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Emmit Shepard.
She is survived by two sons: Butch (Lori) Shepard of Festus and Roger Shepard of Crystal City; a daughter: Patricia (Patrick) Hoover of Crystal City; a brother: Clay (Janet) Logan of Leasburg; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son: Thomas Shepard; five sisters: Margie Logan, Victoria Mask, Stella Hutcheson, Bernice Allred and Margaret Todd; and two brothers: Bud Logan and Alex Logan.
Funeral services were private. Burial was in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City.
