Ruby M. Waldo, 78, of Fenton died April 17, 2020, in Fenton. Mrs. Waldo was a postal carrier in Cedar Hill for 36 years. Born Nov. 23, 1941, in Dupo, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Opal (Wood) and Leo Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband: Jim Waldo.

She is survived by two daughters: Tiny Smithey of Imperial and Tracy McAfee of House Springs; five grandchildren: DeAnna Delaney, Ronnie Delaney, Teresa Gable, Samantha Kovarik and Kathryn Kovarik; a great-granddaughter: Lily Delaney; two siblings: Gene Johnson and Debi Connor; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son: Terry Waldo; and a grandson: Vincent Kovarik.

A memorial gathering is at noon and a memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Graveside service will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 9370 Olive Blvd., St. Louis 63132-3253; or to Susan G.
